Prince Harry all smiles despite Meghan being 1,000 miles away
The Duke of Sussex had to put his finger to his lips to signal to noisy Nigerian supporters that they had to be quiet at the swimming event of the veterans games.
Prince Harry was all smiles as he interacted with fans at the Invictus Games on Valentine's Day - despite his wife Meghan Markle being 1,000 miles away.
Despite being so far from his wife, who chose to head back to California early to be with their two children, Harry was spotted happily posing for selfies and joking with supporters of the South Korean and Danish teams.
Meghan Markle has also been posting more love-themed content on social media just hours after a gushing post saying she was 'missing her Valentine' Prince Harry.
The former working royal - who quit the UK in 2020 for a life of luxury in a £12million Californian mansion - shared a rare video of her children Archie, five, and Lilibet, three, as they made Valentine's Day treats with red bagels.
Meanwhile, more than 1,000 miles away, the Duke of Sussex was pictured shushing noisy Nigerian supporters at a swimming event at the veterans' games.
The boisterous group had continued chanting when organisers of the event at the UBC Aquatics Centre asked for silence so competitors could hear the starting buzzer.
When the excitable group continued to make a racket Harry turned to them and did his best to bring some order so the race could start.
Harry's cheerful antics came a week after Meghan laid on the love for the Prince at the Invictus Games in Vancouver, kissing and cuddling the fifth in line to the throne in front of the cameras following US President Donald Trump branding her 'terrible'.

In another display of affection yesterday, the ex-actress has shared an insight into her family life of making cakes with her children as their father spends Valentine's Day away from Meghan in Canada.
The Duchess of Sussex also took to Instagram to post a photo of herself kissing Harry hours after Kate Middleton and Prince William did the same.
Meghan wrote in the caption: 'Back home taking care of our babies, and missing my Valentine, as he continues on at the Invictus Games, changing lives and reminding all of us of the power of healing and resilience through these incredible veterans and their families.
'Beyond proud of my husband and what he's created. My love, I will eat burgers & fries and fish & chips with you forever. Thank you for you.'
She signed the post 'M' and added the hashtag #lovewins - a slogan usually used to celebrate LGBTQ+ couples.
Harry will stay in Canada to watch the rest of the tournament for injured service personnel and veterans, which will end with Sunday's closing ceremony.
Following his wife's departure, the prince reportedly took a day off to relax and 'unwind' ahead of attending the remaining events solo.
Plans were not given in advance for security reasons, and a source close to the couple said: 'This was always planned. Meghan is going home to be with her children.
'Meghan left the Games in Dusseldorf early after five days to go home. This is Prince Harry's event and she is there to support him, but this was planned.'

It comes just hours after the Prince and Princess of Wales shared their first ever Valentine's Day post.
In a rare and intimate move, the Prince and Princess of Wales's X and Instagram accounts shared a snap of the royal couple; a still taken from Kate's deeply emotive video released in September to confirm she had completed chemotherapy.
The photo showed Prince William kissing his wife's head as they sat among nature in the woodland of the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, where they spent the summer.
Sharing the photo, the official social media accounts chose a slightly more modest statement of their love; posting simply a heart.
The photo marked the couple's enduring love - especially after a 'brutal' year, in William's own words.
The Prince described his horror year at the end of 2024 during a visit to South Africa for the Earthshot Prize, saying: 'It's probably been the hardest year in my life.'
It was an 'annus horribilis' for the Wales family as the Princess received preventative chemotherapy after cancerous cells had been discovered in her body during an abdominal operation in January 2024.
At the same time, it was revealed that William's father King Charles was receiving cancer treatment.

Meghan was spotted disembarking a private jet which brought her home to California earlier this week.
The Duchess of Sussex, wearing a blue jumper with white letters, was unaccompanied except by a security guard as she stepped off the plush transport inside a hangar at Santa Barbara Airport on Tuesday evening.
Meghan spent five days in Vancouver and the ski resort of Whistler with Harry to mark the seventh edition of the Invictus Games.
Aides said the trip home was pre-planned and Meghan had only intended to stay for five days as she had at the 2023 event in Germany.
Following his wife's departure, the prince reportedly took a day off to relax and 'unwind' ahead of attending the remaining events solo.

The Sussexes will be spending Valentine's Day apart after Meghan returned alone to the couple's £12million home in Montecito to see their children Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three.
After Meghan returned to California after five days in Canada, the Duchess showed off a selection of gifts she had brought back from Canada for Archie and Lilibet, including personalised mementos with their names on, in an Instagram post.
In a caption, she wrote: 'A taste of Canada and The Invictus Games for our little ones! Cheering you [Harry] on from home!'

This week MailOnline exclusively revealed that after she returns from the 2025 Invictus Games in Vancouver and Whistler, the Duchess of Sussex will unveil her high-end food and homeware brand to coincide with her new TV show.
But rather than being in a well-heeled supermarket like Whole Foods or high-end department store like Macy's, her wares will first pop up in two American mega-malls on the outskirts of Dallas and Philadelphia.
Her product range has not been revealed - although jam, tea, coffee, wallpaper, pet shampoo, olive oil and much else besides have been rumoured.

The second store is in the Galleria Dallas, an upscale shopping mall located in the north of the city
First unveiled amid great fanfare one year ago, Meghan Markle's range of lifestyle products – sold under the beguiling name of American Riviera Orchard – has so far failed to appear. (Meghan is pictured on her Netflix show).
But Netflix, who will show her delayed 'With Love, Meghan' show from March 4, will set aside space in two of their brand-new brick and mortar stores.
The first of the American Riviera Orchard stands will open in two of America's biggest retail centres, the King of Prussia Mall in Philadelphia and the giant Dallas Galleria.
The duchess had a significant setback when her $20million Spotify podcast series was cancelled with Spotify executive Bill Simmons describing Meghan and husband Prince Harry as 'grifters.'
The couple's $100million five-year Netflix deal expires later this year and insiders believe it will not be renewed.
The source said: 'If Meghan's show is a massive hit and she sells tons of products off the back of it then maybe Netflix will reconsider but at this stage it's all about them supporting her show and then quietly letting the contract run its course.'
The streaming giant hopes to eventually open Netflix House stores coast-to-coast.
On their website they say: 'Netflix House is a year-round home for fans to live the stories they love. Enjoy rotating immersive experiences, exclusive merchandise, food, drinks and much more.'

Meghan's new lifestyle show was originally set to air in January but, according to Netflix, was pushed back because of the devastating LA wildfires.
It is understood the show is being edited 'to include Meghan's philanthropic work around the fires' which included visiting victims in Altadena, California.
This week she bragged about how she scored scored Billie Eilish merchandise for one 15-year-old girl who lost her family home.
The source added: 'Netflix is expanding and growing all the time and Netflix House is a natural progression. Meghan's products will be in there alongside shirts and merchandise from some of the biggest shows on the planet.
'It's a bigger deal for her than it is for Netflix. If her show doesn't take off, then her merchandise will be quietly taken off the shelves and replaced with products associated with a more popular show.
'Netflix has a huge arsenal of shows to draw on so this venture into bricks and mortar retailing makes sense.
'Eventually they are hoping to open stores internationally.'
