Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could be 'keen' for UK return
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have a new reason to visit the UK, a royal expert has claimed.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could be "keen" to visit the UK so that they can meet Princess Beatrice's new daughter, royal expert Jennie Bond has claimed.
The couple, who have not travelled together to the UK since 2022, could now be set to have a sweet new reason to want to travel to Harry's home country.
Meghan, who officially joined the Royal Family in 2018, has not stepped foot on UK soil since last returning in September 2022 - a visit that later saw the pair attend the late Queen Elizabeth II's funeral.
Speaking to the Mirror, Ms Bond has now suggested that the birth of baby Athena - born on January 22 - could be a reason for the pair to travel so they can meet Beatrice's new bundle of joy.
Ms Bond said: "I imagine that Beatrice has already pinged a picture or two [of Athena] to Harry and Meghan."
Although a visit may not happen straight away, she said the birth could make a visit more likely. She added: "I don't think it will hasten a visit by them to the UK, but perhaps if charity work or business brings Harry this way he'll be keen to meet his new cousin."
