R-Truth is struggling to accept John Cena‘s actions at WWE Elimination Chamber.
At the end of WWE Elimination Chamber, John Cena aligned with The Rock and turned heel as he attacked Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. The wrestling world continues to buzz about the situation.
In a tweet, R-Truth seemingly responded to Cena’s heel turn by saying, “Think I might crash out.”
In another post, R-Truth called a picture of the heel turn “AI generated.” Furthermore, he edited his profile picture to say “Why John” and his banner to a message that reads, “Say it ain’t so John”.
Shortly after the turn, he encouraged fans not to jump to conclusions about it.
Truth has often parodied Cena in recent years, as he has used his moves. He has also referred to Cena as his childhood hero. Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Truth discussed calling Cena his childhood hero and borrowing from his moveset.
“Oh, man, I broke him too with that one,” he said. “That was good, man. And they’re still running with it. I love it, man. I’m not going to burst nobody’s bubble. I’m not a bubble buster. I love it. He is my childhood hero. I would be legs crossed watching him every Saturday morning.”
“Everything, even wearing shorts. He said, ‘Truth you don’t have to ask me to wear shorts in the ring.’ I said, ‘Man, but I want to. I want to be you,” he said. “I want to do everything you do, walk, talk. How do you hold your head to the side? I want to do everything. I want to be you.’ He said, ‘Run with it, man.’ Yeah, he’s one of the greatest.”
