Rami Malek has given a rare insight into his relationship with fellow actor Emma Corrin.
He was drawn in a new interview with The Guardian on the union while promoting his west end stage debut in Oedipus at the Old Vic theatre. Malek is set to play the titular character of the iconic Greek tragedy opposite Indira Varma.
âThat person [is] fascinating,â Malek told the publication of his partner, who uses 'they/them' pronouns.
When the journalist described Corrin as âsmart and quirky,â he replied: âWe like quirkyâ.

During the chat he later mentioned having stayed in the previous night to watch Dr Strangelove with them.
He also revealed that Corrin organised a surprise Thanksgiving dinner for him last year, which âblew him awayâ.
Malek and Corrin first met while working on the Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody in 2018.
Prior to getting together with them, Malek dated actress Lucy Boynton for close to five years.
Corrin came out as non-binary in 2022, telling Vogue at the time: âIn my mind, gender just isnât something that feels fixed and I donât know if it ever will be; there might always be some fluidity there for me.â
The Crown star continued: âI like people. My first date with a girl, they were like, âOh! Youâre a baby queer!â
âIt was amazing. We actually didnât end up seeing each other again, but she really gave me the lowdown.'
They added: âIâm working out all this complex gender and sexuality stuff. And yet, Iâm seeing a guy? That feels very juxtaposed, even if Iâm very happy.â
