Aston Villa and Celtic went head-to-head in their final league phase match.
It was a dramatic affair, with the English Premier League outfit emerging victorious 4-2, meaning the Celts will now face a knockout play-off against Bayern Munich.
Prince William, who is a well known huge Villa fan, was in attendance as he often is at Villa Park.
But he was subjected to several chants by a section of the Hoops support during the game.

Singing of 'if you hate the Royal Family, clap your hands' could be heard.
There were also sickening chants of 'Lizzie's in a box,' a reference to the late Queen Elizabeth II who died in 2022.
Those chants have left Gers great Souness irate.
Writing in his Daily Mail column, the former Scotland international hit out at the chanting - and refused to even mention Celtic by name.

Souness said: "We have sections of a support, I won't give them the courtesy of naming their club, effectively rejoicing over the death of the late Queen of England in front of her grandson.
"Brilliant, they must be really proud of themselves.

Celtic fans face a potential BAN from their play-off clash with Bayern Munich.
The Hoops have been hit with a Uefa disciplinary notice stemming from the Villa match, where a smoke bomb was thrown onto the pitch.
Earlier this season, Celtic were handed a suspended away fan BAN over the 'lighting of fireworks' during the visit to Borussia Dortmund.
And the latest disciplinary notice could potentially trigger that ban and bring it into force.
Speaking on the potential of a ban, Celts boss Brendan Rodgers said: "We will wait to see what comes of that but it’s certainly not what you want to hear.
"For genuine Celtic supporters, who are bonded with their club, it’s the last thing they want to hear.
"For people who travelled for years, worldwide, home and away, that’s not what we would want.

"It’s been a culmination of things that have come our way as a club.
"I’m only hoping and praying that, for a game of that magnitude, or any game, that this doesn’t get taken away from the supporters that Celtic means everything to."
