Resident reports Amazon fraud: Rocky River Police Blotter
On Feb. 7 a resident reported he was the victim of fraud.
Hit skip, Detroit Road
On Feb. 3 a man came to the police station to report a hit skip in the Whole Foods parking lot. There was damage to the car’s headlight and bumper.

Property damage, Center Ridge Road
On Feb. 5 a woman came to the police station to report a hit skip in the Swinging Door Lounge parking lot that had occurred on Feb. 3. There was minor damage to the car. A follow-up will be conducted regarding possible surveillance footage.
Fraud, Lake Road
On Feb. 7 a resident reported he was the victim of fraud. He said he went to his bank and found out he was scammed out of $700. The man purchased $700 in Apple gift cards and gave the card numbers over the photo to a man claiming to be an Amazon employee working on fraud cases.
