Banās death comes just weeks after she underwent emergency brain surgery for injuries sustained in a ski accident on Christmas Eve in Aspen, Colorado. She was found unresponsive in her Tribeca home on Monday afternoon.
Rihanna was among the first to pay tribute to her friend, Lynn Ban.

Rihanna Comments On The Passing Of Lynn BanThe "Diamonds" singer shared a long-standing professional and personal relationship with Ban. The designerās bold and innovative jewelry had adorned Rihanna for years, from music videos and tours to her Fenty Puma collections.

Banās passing was confirmed by her son, Sebastian, in an emotional Instagram post on Wednesday morning. He revealed that her death occurred less than a month after her surgery, sparking an outpouring of condolences from fans and celebrities alike. Her husband, Jett Kain, reportedly discovered her at approximately 1:30 p.m.

On December 30, Ban had taken to Instagram to share the news of her serious ski accident, detailing the severity of the injuries that ultimately led to her untimely death.
"Christmas Eve on a beautiful sunny day in Aspen on vacation with my family, I had a ski accident that would change my life," the Netflix star shared with her followers. "At the top of the mountain, I caught a tip and face planted. Luckily I always wear a helmet, It didnāt seem that bad at the time, and I was able to ski to the bottom."
āLast thing I remember was being intubated and waking up after an emergency craniectomy with Jett by my side,ā Ban added at the time.
