Rory McIlroy took home a cheque for âŹ405,000 after finishing joint fourth at the Dubai Desert Classic on Sunday.
The Holywood man produced a stunning final round as he recorded a six-under-par 66, which took him to 12 under for the week. It is incredibly McIlroy's 11th consecutive top-10 in the event, a run stretching back to his victory in 2009.
He finished tied with Niklas Norgaard Moller in fourth, three shots behind eventual champion Tyrrell Hatton. Australian Daniel Hillier finished second, with England's Laurie Canter third.
The Dubai Desert Classic carried a huge prize fund of $9 million (âŹ8,766,694) and 8,000 Race to Dubai points, with champ Hatton claiming the first prize of $1,530,000 (âŹ1,490,338).
McIlroy and Moller shared $831,600 (âŹ810,000), meaning they walked away with a cool âŹ405,000 each, reports Belfast Live.
Tom McKibbin - who is being linked with a move to LIV Golf - finished tied for sixth and claimed âŹ347,000.
Eventual winner Hatton said afterwards: "It feels amazing. I said earlier in the week this is one of the events you want to have on your CV. It's such an iconic event on the DP World Tour.
"To add my name to the list of amazing champions before me, to add my name is a dream come true."
