Rosé’s “APT.” Breaks Mariah Carey’s Record On Billboard Global Excl. U.S. Chart For Most Weeks At No. 1
BLACKPINK’s Rosé set multiple records on the Billboard charts this week!
For the week ending on February 15, Rosé and Bruno Mars’ hit collab “APT.” remained No. 1 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart for the 15th non-consecutive week.
“APT.” has now broken the record set by Mariah Carey’s beloved Christmas classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You” to become the song with the most weeks at No. 1 on the chart.
Additionally, “APT.” spent its third consecutive week at No. 1 on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart (which measures weekly plays on mainstream Top 40 radio stations across the United States), after becoming the first song by a K-pop artist ever to top the chart last month.
Rosé has also become the first K-pop artist ever to enter the top five of Billboard’s Radio Songs chart, which measures U.S. radio plays across all musical genres (not just Top 40 pop). In its 12th week on the chart, “APT.” rose to a new peak of No. 5.
Meanwhile, Rosé’s solo album “rosie” stayed strong at No. 28 in its ninth consecutive week on the Billboard 200, making it the first album by a female K-pop soloist to spend nine weeks on the chart.
APT. also came in at No. 6 in its 16th week on Billboard's Hot 100, in addition to holding steady at No. 2 on the Global 200, No. 9 on the Digital Song Sales chart, and No. 10 on the Streaming Songs chart—while rosie re-entered Billboard's Top Album Sales chart at No. 49 and rose to No. 31 on the Top Current Album Sales chart.
Finally, Rosé climbed back up to No. 31 on Billboard’s Artist 100 this week, marking her 17th overall week on the chart as a soloist.
Congratulations to Rosé!
