Although Ryan Reynolds skipped the Critics Choice Awards, he didn't completely ignore them. The star chose to stay out of the limelight amid his wife Blake Lively's legal battle with Justin Baldoni.
The star has many plates spinning at the moment as he recently bought another football team - Club Deportivo Seguros La Equidad in Bogotá, Colombia, with Wrexham partner Rob McElhenney. During the awards, Deadpool & Wolverine picked up a gong for Best Comedy, alongside A Real Pain, and Ryan took to his Instagram to share his gratitude.
Posting the winning poster on his Instagram, the 48-year-old penned: "Zoing! Thanks @criticschoice — whole team @deadpoolmovie is thrilled. But wait a minute. Swipe," as a posted a picture from A Real Pain, who also secured the win. "Huge congrats to @arealpainfilm," he continued.

Ryan has been busy elsewhere, as shortly before posting about Deadpool's win, he showcased his time at the JP Morgan summit with Bob Iger and Bryan Lourd. Posting pictures on and off stage from the event, the star penned: "Had an amazing time on stage at the @jpmorgan summit with Bob Iger and Bryan Lourd. These boys are SHARP. Surpirsed to discover my mum there," he wrote, with a picture of her. "She wanted to see Iger."
Last month, Ryan's wife Blake, 37, sued Justin, 41, who she stars with in It Ends With Us, for sexual harassment and allegedly causing "severe emotional distress". Justin has, however, strongly refuted the allegations.
In January, the actor countersued Blake and her husband, Ryan, 48, for £321 million for an apparent attempt to "destroy" his reputation and career. It's since been claimed Blake and Ryan's lawyers have filed a notice to state that they will seek to dismiss Justin's lawsuit.
It was a busy night at the Critics Choice Awards Chelsea Handler returned to host the big night, which took place at The Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, California, for the third consecutive year. The host was quick to mock Blake and Justin's legal battle as she said: "I want to acknowledge that we've been through a lot lately, not just here in Los Angeles, but our entire country, waking up every day not knowing what news we are going to hear that will disappoint or horrify us. Oh, it is important at times like these to have a distraction, and that's why I want to personally extend my gratitude Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively.
"Thank you for providing us with that distraction. I'm grateful. I think we're all grateful. I think we're good. I think everybody in this room, no matter whose side you're on, we can all agree to accept that there's probably not going to be a sequel. It ends with us, guys. "
Big wins came for Sean Baker's Anora, which picked up Best Picture and Adrien Brody who picked up the gong for Best Actor following his performance in The Brutalist. Best Actress went to Demi Moore for her role in The Substance, as Kieran Culkin picked up Best Supporting Actor for A Real Pain.
