Travis Barker Explains How Recent Plane Crashes Have Made His Flying PTSD 'Much Worse'
Travis Barker admits he hesitated flying to New Orleans for his Run Travis Run event, due to the recent plane crashes. Weeks after an American Airlines commercial jet collided mid-air with a Black Hawk military helicopter and killed everyone on board, the Blink-182 drummer told Fox News, 'It just gets harder and harder, especially when your biggest fears come to life.’ In 2008, Travis and his collaborator, Adam 'DJ AM' Goldstein, flew on a private jet that crashed in South Carolina after it caught fire. Travis and DJ AM were the only survivors of the six people on board. DJ AM died from an accidental drug overdose a year later.
