Sam Thompson and Zara McDermott are co-parenting their cats following their recent split as the former I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here winner admitted he’s ‘very happy’.
The former Made In Chelsea stars and TV presenters broke up towards the end of last year after five years together to the shock of their fans.
Article continues belowWhile Zara is yet to comment on her and Sam no longer being together, Sam has provided some insight into how he's keeping on his Staying Relevant podcast with his best friend Pete Wicks.
One potential issue stemming from the split is the custody of their beloved pet cats Albus and Cedric, who they often showed off to their social media followers when together.
Since their breakup, Zara has shared several snaps of the pair, but Sam had not until he took to Instagram on Thursday (April 3).
Sharing an image of him holding one of the cats with a red heart emoji, Sam looked overjoyed as they posed for a heartwarming picture.
Sam simply captioned the snap for his 2.7 million followers: “Missed You.”
Zara is currently soaking up the sun in Dubai, where she is staying in the Rixos Premium Dubai JBR hotel as she enjoys a holiday away from the UK.
Making the most of her trip, the documentary maker shared a picture of herself enjoying a glass of wine in a lace black dress.
Back when he was on I’m A Celebrity in 2023, Sam opened up to Jamie Lynn Spears about his cats when the sister of pop legend Britney Spears said she was missing her children.
"I get it man, I've got two cats at home - Albus and Cedric - little fluffy men. Know what I mean? So I get it. Not kids, but I get it,” he said.
Meanwhile, on the latest episode of Staying Relevant, Pete told Sam that he’s ‘really come into’ his own after interviewing dating expert Paul Carrick Brunson.
“This is it, baby! We’re on lift-off! The training wheels are coming off. The stabilizers are retracting. It’s like a plane taking off,” he joked.

Having his say on Sam's mood recently, Pete told him: “You’re glowing up. The golf is in full swing at the minute - excuse the pun.
"We’ll ignore the fact that you’re dressed like a f***ing tree today and blending into the plant, but you do look great.”
