Saquon Barkley Asked About Travis Kelce Engagement Rumors
Philadelphia Eagles player Saquon Barkley weighed in on the Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift engagement speculation.
Fresh off his Super Bowl win, Saquon Barkley sat down with Howard Stern to talk all things football and life.
During his interview on âThe Howard Stern Show,â the running back for the Philadelphia Eagles was asked Barkley if he thought Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift were end game.
âFrom where youâre sitting, you think Travis Kelceâs gonna marry Taylor Swift or what do you think? Whatâs gonna happen there?â Stern asked on the February 12 episode.
âI have no idea,â Barkley responded. He didnât have much else to offer on the ongoing engagement speculation. Of course, he probably doesnât have much of an inkling as to whatâs going on behind closed doors, given that he and Kelce donât even play for the same team.

It totally makes sense that Stern would ask Barkley his take on Kelce and Swift, given that engagement rumors about the couple have been running wild for months.
In fact, back in October, a source very bluntly denied the engagement speculation in a statement given to TMZ.
âItâs not true and the recent erratic and unfounded speculation on this couple is just proving that media and overzealous fans do not know whatâs going on with them and shouldnât make wild assumptions based on zero facts. Two days ago everyone had decided they were broken up, now theyâre allegedly secretly engaged? Itâs whiplash-inducing,â the source said.
Nevertheless, many Swifties have been waiting for an announcement and some think itâs going to happen soon.
One thing that Barkley brought up was Swift getting booed at the Super Bowl.
âI will say this though. I will say this though. You know, I remember that they showed her on the jumbotron and she got booed. I donât get it. I donât get why she was getting hate there,â he told Stern.
âSheâs there supporting her significant other and sheâs made the game bigger,â he continued.
âYou know, weâre all about, in football, weâre all about, you know, how can we expand the game and make it more, you know, internationally and weâre traveling to Brazil and weâre traveling to Mexico, and you know, apparently weâre traveling to Australia soon, so weâre trying to expand the game and, you know, her being a part of itâs only helping that, so I donât get the slack that sheâs getting,â he added.
