Seal is living up to his name!
On Wednesday, Feb. 5, the artist, 61, appeared in a new Mountain Dew Super Bowl commercial, where he sang a new rendition of his 1994 song “Kiss from a Rose,” while transforming into a seal.
The advert, which was exclusively revealed by Today, begins with Mountain Dew's Mountain Dude resting on a kitchen counter and offering Becky G a drink.
After accepting the bottle of Mountain Dew Baja Blast, Becky takes a sip and enters a portal before landing in a boat with the Mountain Dude.

Becky, the Mountain Dude and other members on the boat then suddenly meet with a group of seals singing a rendition of Seal’s song, "Kiss from a Rose."
While the classic’s original lyrics sing: "ba-ya-ya, ba-da-da-da-da-da, ba-ya-ya," the sea creatures sang, "Baja, baja, baja, baja."

The seal at the top of the rock then lifts his head up and belts out in the song’s melody, “Baby, I compare it to a kiss from a lime, on the bay.”
Featuring Seal’s face, the seal continues to sing with changed lyrics of, "Ooh, the more I think of it, it's strange I'm a seal, yeah.”

"My flippers can't hold Mountain Dew, what a shame," the musician continues as he loses grip of a bottle of Mountain Dew.
A dramatic pause then occurs when two sharks appear to circle around the Mountain Dude and Becky’s boat, however, Seal continues by singing: “There’s so much Seal can tell you, so much he can say.”
“Dew remains my power, my pleasure, my flame," he adds before a volcano appears to erupt.
"Well this is the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen,” Becky says.
The ad then ends with Seal in human form, sitting in the boat with the others, stating, “Good-looking Seal,” as the Mountain Dude yells with joy, “None of this makes sense.”
Sharing the video on his Instagram Stories, Seal wrote: "New Super Bowl commercial featuring me. This was fun."
The lighthearted commercial comes after Becky previously spoke to PEOPLE about the nickname she was given while on set of the commercial.
“I’m really proud to be doing this with Mountain Dew because there’s just a certain cloth that I’m cut from when it comes to things that make me smile," she said, adding that her “super cool” nickname was “Super Bowl Becky.”
