There is so much Seal can tell you, so much he can say about his and ex Heidi Klum's eldest son fulfilling his dream.
What came to mind immediately was remembering the look on Henry Samuel's face as the 19-year-old made his runway debut at the Lena Erziak Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2025 Show during Paris Fashion Week Jan. 28.
"Watching him, or seeing him in those photos, having such a great time and looking like he was really enjoying the experience," Seal exclusively told E! News' Francesca Amiker Feb. 5, "that personally is what gave me great happiness."
With his runway debut, Henry is following in the footsteps of his mother, who rose to fame as a supermodel in the '90s, and sister Leni Olumi Klum, 20, who made her own fashion runway debut in 2021.
Seal—who also shares kids Johan Samuel, 18, and Lou Samuel, 15, with Heidi—expressed he would be happy with whatever careers Henry and his siblings choose, as long as they enjoyed them.

"If he was tomorrow to wake up and say, 'Dad, you know, I've just found this love of, I just want to make this town better, and I want to go out and sweep the streets, because that's where my passion is right now,'" the "Kiss From a Rose" singer (real name Seal Samuel) said about his eldest son, "I'd be waking up each morning just to watch the smile on his face when he does that."
Seal continued, "The only advice I really feel qualified as a parent to give any of them is, you know, for the love of God, find that thing that you love doing—whether it's a fashion show, whether it is sweeping the streets, whether it is being an entrepreneur, whether it's singing— anything, just find it. And when you find it, you'll know, because you will love it, you will feel compelled to do it."

It brought him back to his own journey to finding his passion in life.
"When I think back to what it was like for me when, when I was 19, I was trying to figure it out," he said. "I mean, I, of course, I had music and I had a voice, but I hadn't found it yet. I hadn't quite found it and, and I don't know if you are supposed to find it at 19."

The singer went on to find success in the '90s with singles such as "Crazy" and the Batman Forever soundtrack song "Kiss From a Rose," the latter of which won him three Grammys.
It also inspired PepsiCo's upcoming "Kiss from a Lime" Super Bowl 2025 commercial for the new Tropical Lime flavor of Mountain Dew Baja Blast.
The ad sees Seal depicted as an actual seal, performing a parody of his signature hit for Becky G and her crew and was directed by Taika Waititi. And more than 30 years after writing the original song, he’s still marveling at its enduring legacy.
"I don't know what I was thinking at the time when I wrote it," Seal explained, "but right now, it's been rewritten, and it's got comedic words that make people laugh."
He added, "Comedy and humor and music are the two greatest elixirs and so, I'm just happy to be able to do that."
