Sharon Stone has revealed the truth behind being neighbours with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
In recent days, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have come under fire after former members of their household claimed they ignored "distressing" allegations against them. A recent article claimed that Meghan, 43, had been "awful" towards staff when things appeared to go against the way she wanted.
A source recently claimed that Meghan and Harry, 40, "don't know what change the world means" after their Spotify podcast series, Archetypes was cancelled. To mark five years since their decision to step down as senior working members of The Royal Family, an article was published by glossy title Vanity Fair and featured insights from people who have worked close to the royal couple, who now reside in California.
Referring back to the end of their Spotify podcast, a source in the article has claimed that the royal couple "don't know what change the world means". In a reference to Princess Diana's royal work before her untimely passing in 1997, the source added, "Diana walked amongst land mines. Meghan couldn't even say the word sl*t". The insider also claimed that Meghan and Harry "want to be people who are looked at as people who want to change the world."

The article also claimed that Meghan could be "really, really awful" towards members of the household, despite initially being "warm and effusive" when she married into the House of Windsor. But as things deteriorated, the former Suits actress became "cold and withholding toward the person she perceived to be responsible" when things went wrong. An insider claimed that things often "went poorly, often due to Meghan and Harry's own demands."
Sources told The Times that Meghan and Harry find the allegations "distressing". But comments from Sharon Stone have resurfaced, five years after their decision to move to America to live a more financially independent lifestyle. Speaking in 2020, Sharon said: "The thing about them, which is so great, is that they didn't come here to live off of our community, they came here to be a part of our community.
"They're a part of our community, they become a part, a giving, caring, participating part of our community. They're not here, like 'Would you like to kiss my butt?'" The Vanity Fair article branded Prince Harry a "hapless if well-meaning man" who is said to have considered interviewing sociopaths including Vladimir Putin.
According to the publication, Harry said: "I have very bad childhood trauma. Obviously. My mother was essentially murdered. What is it about me that didn't make me one of the bad guys?" Meanwhile, a source said that Meghan would yell at staff, without raising her voice on "any given Tuesday".
The outlet also claims that since moving to Montecito in Santa Barbara County, the couple have become known as "the prince and the starlet" and have been branded the "local villains", enticing people who are not from the area to visit the town. So much so, that walk in bookings at a popular steakhouse have become almost impossible.
