Sierra Ferrell Announces 2025 Tour: “I’m Back Two Steppin’ the Stars in a Town Near You”
In between touring with Jelly Roll and Post Malone, Americana sensation Sierra Ferrell will also hit the road solo in 2025.
Musically, Sierra Ferrell is tough to pin down. The West Virginia-born artist melds bluegrass, jazz and calypso in songs like “Fox Hunt” and “American Dreaming.” Physically, however, the Trail of Flowers crooner will be much easier to find in 2025. Already set to join Post Malone and Jelly Roll on their Big Ass Stadium Tour, Ferrell has announced a separate tour of her own.
Sierra Ferrell announced her Shoot for the Moon Tour on social media Thursday (Jan. 24.) The “American Dreaming” singer shared a whimsical poster featuring an artistic rendering of herself being shot over the moon from a cannon, complete with a fiddle-playing cat.
“Here we go friends! I’m back two steppin’ the stars in a town near you come the flower moon,” Ferrell wrote in the caption. “Have a twirl with yer girl.”
Ferrell kicks off the Shoot For the Moon Tour on April 25 with a Coachella set in Indio, California. She will visit multiple states—including Arizona, Wisconsin and Missouri—before wrapping up Sept. 14 in Asheville, North Carolina.
Pre-sale tickets will be available Tuesday, Jan. 28. General tickets go on sale Friday, Jan. 31.

Sierra Ferrell self-released her first two albums and sold them while busking on the streets between Seattle and New Orleans. Earning millions of online views with her song “In Dreams,” the now 36-year-old eventually scored a three-album deal with Rounder Records in 2019.
“It was a long process but then finally, at 32, I’ve kind of somehow made a career out of it,” she told the Barricade Babes in May 2020.
While collaborating with artists like Zach Bryan and Post Malone, Ferrell also made a name for herself solo. Her fourth studio release, 2024’s Trail of Flowers, enchanted a broader fanbase with tracks like “Lighthouse” and “I Could Drive You Crazy.” The album also scored Sierra Ferrell four Grammy nominations for Best Americana Album (“Trail of Flowers”), Best American Roots Performance (“Lighthouse”), Best Americana Performance (“American Dreaming”) and Best American Roots Song (“American Dreaming”).
