Simon Cowell's red-tinted glasses have had many people scratching their heads.
The music mogul, 64, is no stranger when it comes to having his choice of clothing critiqued. Famed for his blue jeans and white or black sweaters, the dad-of-one is a familiar face to many. But in recent years, he's been testing the waters with his image, opting to rock suave suits and interesting choices when it comes to eyewear.
Simon has previously opened up about a health condition he struggles with, meaning he suffers from "laser-like" pain but his red-tinted glasses make the world of difference to him. The boss behind Britain's Got Talent has suffered his fair share of health struggles over the years, most famously a fall from his bike which left him requiring extensive surgery.
But he also suffers from migraines, a severe headache which causes a throbbing pain or pulsing sensation, often on one side of the head. The condition is often accompanied by sickness, vomiting, extreme sensitivity to light and sound and a stiff neck. Treatment includes medication called triptans, paracetamol and medication to stop you from feeling sick.

Speaking about his condition and red glasses, Simon previously said: "The red glasses are because I have lights in my eyes all day long and it's like a laser and I get migraines and that's like a filter. And they actually do work." But when quizzed on whether he could be starting a fashion trend, he joked: "I don’t think anyone has ever copied my fashion."
More than 5.6 million people in England alone suffer from migraines, with around 190,000 having migraine attacks every day. Triggers can include, anxiety, depression, stress, lack of sleep and too much caffeine. Tonight, Simon returns to Britain's Got Talent alongside Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli, as well as hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.
But while the live shows are a matter of weeks away, Simon appears to have worked out who will win, adding that "everyone" will gravitate towards one act. "This year, when we were discussing the finals, we went round the room and said who we think might win and there was one person everyone gravitated towards," he revealed to the Mirror.
He went on to add: "It's going to be interesting. I'm excited for this year, let's see who the public picks as their winner."
In the new series, viewers will watch a scary moment as crew are forced to intervene as Simon lies on the stage with mallets and bits of watermelon flying all around. Speaking about that moment afterwards, he told the Mirror: “It’s that feeling when you kind of think somebody doesn't want you on the show any more. It was that. It was the closest, genuinely, where I'm thinking ‘they actually want to kill me’. And I swear to God, that's how I felt because this guy got really nervous and he'd slipped and was shaking as he was smashing these watermelons.”
Britain's Got Talent returns tonight at 7pm on ITV and ITVX.
