Sir Elton John shares rare family moment with sons at Oscars party
Elton John and his husband David Furnish are parents to sons Zachary and Elijah, who the music icon rarely shares snaps of, but the family were recently seen all together at an Oscars party.
Music icon Sir Elton John was recently spotted with his rarely-seen sons and husband David Furnish.
The 77-year-old superstar, who has been married to David since 2014, is a proud father to Zachary, 13, and Elijah, 11.

The family made an appearance at the 33rd Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards viewing party held at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, California.
This follows Elton's attendance at the 96th Oscars ceremony at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood, Los Angeles on Sunday night, where he mingled with celebrities such as Timothee Chalamet, Kylie Jenner, Adrien Brody, and Ralph Fiennes.
Over the weekend, Elton was seen beaming alongside his sons Zachary and Elijah, posing for red carpet photos with David, 62.

The trio stood arm-in-arm at the annual event, reports the Mirror. Unfortunately, Sir Elton has experienced health issues in recent years, causing concern for his future with his family and young sons.
Last week, the music legend made a heartfelt revelation on BBC's The Graham Norton Show, where he appeared with collaborator Brandi Carlile to promote their upcoming track 'Who Believes In Angels?', set to release on April 4.

The iconic musician admitted that he "lost it" and required consolation for 45 minutes when a new song forced him to face his own mortality. "Bernie Taupin (Elton's lyricist) gave me a lyric for a song called, 'When This Whole World Is Done With Me', and I'm writing the verse (music) quite quickly, and I think this is a really lovely verse," Elton shared during his appearance on Graham Norton's show.
He went on to say: "And then I get to the chorus, and I find that it's about my death, my demise. And as a 76-year-old man, which I was at that time, and having children and having a husband, mortality, and you think about, 'How long have I got? How long? I hope I've got, much longer than maybe I've got.
"And so by the time I got to the chorus and suddenly realised that I started singing it (and) I lost it for 45 minutes. It was a very, very heavy moment for me," he confessed. He added: "After 45 minutes of being consoled, I was okay, but I recorded the next day...when you're singing about being washed out to sea and the end of your life, it took me by surprise."

Elton has candidly spoken about his sons' concerns regarding his mortality, revealing: "They think about my mortality. They worry about my mortality. Not so much David, but me... [My sons] love their daddy, so they want me to be around forever, [and] I would love to be around forever."
The iconic musician also expressed doubts about witnessing future milestones in his children's lives, saying, "I want to see them have children and get married. I don't think I'm going to be around for that. Who knows? You never know. So that's why I want to use the best time - the best of my time - while I'm around. Time together is so wonderful and so precious,".

In a surprising revelation last year, Sir Elton shocked his admirers by disclosing during the West End debut of the musical he composed, The Devil Wears Prada, that he had "lost his eyesight and can't see the stage".
The beloved 'Rocket Man' received an outpouring of support from his fans after sharing this personal struggle at the London event, with his husband David Furnish by his side.

Despite facing numerous health challenges over time, Elton remains resilient. He took to social media in October to share his physical trials, stating: "To be honest with you, there's not much of me left. I don't have tonsils, adenoids or an appendix. I don't have a prostate. I don't have a right hip or a left knee or a right knee. In fact, the only thing left to me is my left hip. But I'm still here."
The I'm Still Standing star has shared a personal health update with his fans, revealing that he suffered a loss of vision due to a severe eye infection.
In a heartfelt Instagram post in September, the iconic musician disclosed: "Over the summer, I've been dealing with a severe eye infection that has unfortunately left me with only limited vision in one eye. I am healing, but it's an extremely slow process and it will take some time before sight returns to the impacted eye."
â
He expressed his gratitude towards his medical team and family for their support, saying: "I am so grateful for the excellent team of doctors and nurses and my family, who have taken such good care of me over the last several weeks. I have been quietly spending the summer recuperating at home, and am feeling positive about the progress I have made in my healing and recovery thus far. With love and gratitude."
The father of two, who was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in the early 2000s, also spoke about his dietary changes aimed at managing his condition, noting it had been a "long time" since he indulged in sweets. The 'Sacrifice' singer, who faced prostate cancer in 2017, chose surgery over chemotherapy to avoid the illness looming over his family.
Unfortunately, he later developed a serious infection post-surgery, which he said nearly cost him his life.
