Sophie Wessex displays true feelings for King Charles with four-word remark
The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh recently set off on an official six-day visit to Nepal, where Sophie encountered a woman at Maiti Nepal who'd met King Charles in the past
Sophie Wessex expressed her sentiment towards King Charles with a brief four-word remark during an official visit to Nepal.
The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh recently undertook a six-day trip to Nepal, retracing the steps of the late Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, aiming to strengthen ties between the UK and the South Asian nation.
As part of the visit, Sophie stopped by Maiti Nepal, a non-profit organisation supporting victims of human trafficking, which King Charles had previously visited in 1998.
Roya Nikkhah, Sunday Times Royal Editor, who accompanied Edward and Sophie on their Nepal visit, shared insights about the trip on The Royals with Roya and Kate.

Roya recounted Sophie's encounter with a woman named Anita, who has lived at the centre since childhood and now works in the textiles area, describing the location as "extraordinary", reports Edinburgh Live.
Roya said: "It's an extraordinary place and she now works in the sort of textiles area and she'd made this handmade cushion for the King and she explained to Sophie that she'd met him.
"And she showed the photo when he came all those years ago and she was much younger and she'd made this cushion and gave it to Sophie, who said, 'I'll be absolutely sure he gets it'.
"And it had a very sweet card written in it, saying, you know, 'I want you to know how much your visit all those years ago meant'. Apparently, she told people, that people were saying, 'What's the King like now? ' And she said, ' Oh, he's still the same', hasn't changed."

During their trip, Sophie and Edward stopped by the National Botanic Garden in Godawari. They also engaged in planting a magnolia tree alongside the ones planted by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip in 1986. Prince Edward humorously remarked that digging was the "best bit of exercise" he'd had in a long time.
Sophie playfully urged him to "keep going", affectionately calling him "darling". They took turns watering the newly planted tree, with Sophie optimistically stating: "This is going to make all the difference. May the tree grow."
Following the planting ceremony, the couple enjoyed a stroll through the gardens, visiting the Biodiversity Education Garden. In a light-hearted moment, a dog joined the entourage and, in its excitement, leapt onto the Duchess's dress.
