The cast of a brand new Star Trek adventure welcomes some familiar faces to the sci-fi franchise, including an Academy Award winner.
Originally pitched as a spin-off series, Star Trek Section 31 has become a standalone film. It will be streaming exclusively on Paramount+ from January 24.
The movie brings back some old favourites and introduces fresh takes on beloved characters from the Trek universe. Star Trek Section 31 sees the return of Academy Award winner Michelle Yeoh, reprising her role from Star Trek: Discovery. She joins a secret division of Starfleet known as Section 31.
Tasked with protecting the United Federation of Planets, she must also confront the sins of her past. Here's who else is in the cast of the film and where you might recognise them from, reports the Irish Star.
