Stevie Wonder will be performing in Cardiff for the first time in 50 years, it has been confirmed. The I Just Called To Say I Love You and Superstition singer will be headlining the Blackweir music event this summer.
The last time the 25-Grammy award winning singer performed in the capital was back in 1971. Before then, the singer-songwriter, musician and producer visited Cardiff to perform in 1965 when he was just 14 years old.
The announcement comes after it's already been revealed Noah Kahan will kick off the new series of outdoor live music events on Friday, June 27, Meanwhile, rock back Kings of Leon will headline on Sunday, June 29 with The Courteeners supporting them, Alanis Morissette will bring her 2025 World Tour on Wednesday, July 2 and Slayer will headline on Thursday, July 3.

When do tickets go on sale?
Tickets for Stevie Wonder's concert will go on sale at 10am on Friday, March 21. Tickets for all other dates are on sale now, despite the event still needing a new licence approval to go ahead with the desired 35,00 capacity.
How can I get my ticket?
Fans can get their tickets through two ticketing sites - Blackweir Live and Ticketmaster. If you want to purchase tickets from Blackweir, you can head over to their website here. Alternatively, tickets will also be available on Ticketmaster, which you can find out more here.
