Adam Thomas asked if he'd return to Emmerdale
Former Strictly Come Dancing star Adam Thomas explained the severity of his arthritis during Wednesday's episode of This Morning. While speaking to presenters Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley, ITV viewers learned that his wife had to help him get changed at one point due to the pain he was in.
Touching on Adam coming off of medication, Dr Zoe said: "With any illness like this, lifestyle first. If people can get themselves better and manage their illness with a lifestyle approach, fantastic."
Detailing the former soap star taking on a carnivore diet, Dr Zoe explained it's not recommended long term due to nutritional deficiencies. She added: "But, tell somebody like Adam, who at one point your wife had to help you get dressed in the morning, who was in that much pain, who's now able to go to the gym and move freely because there's been a dietary intervention to stop, they're not going to."
