On the afternoon of March 31, Sulli’s brother went live on his personal account, sharing his thoughts on Kim Soo-hyun’s statements.
“I already expected him not to admit anything. We all knew he wouldn’t, so why act surprised?” he remarked. “Is he crying for real, or is that acting? I keep thinking about why he refuses to acknowledge anything. It feels like a calculated move.”
He further claimed that Kim Soo-hyun’s press conference was nothing more than a strategic game, referencing Kim Soo-hyun’s statement, “I have a lot to lose.”
“That’s obvious,” Sulli’s brother continued. “People who have a lot will naturally fear losing it. But I don’t understand what exactly he’s so upset about.”
During the live stream, Sulli’s brother also questioned why Kim Soo-hyun refused to take questions from the press.

“If you don’t take questions, you’re not that aggrieved,” he said. “He’s just protecting himself and his greed.”
He then posed a direct question, “Will there be a second press conference, or is this the end? Is 12 billion won your final goal?”

Additionally, he criticized Kim Soo-hyun’s forensic analysis claims. “How can forensics be fake? Didn’t he himself say it was reconstructed to fit the situation? He basically admitted it was nearly identical to the real thing. It’s understandable if he doesn’t remember every detail, but come on.”

In his press conference, Kim Soo-hyun strongly denied all allegations against him. He announced that he would be filing criminal charges and a civil lawsuit worth 12 billion won (approximately $9 million) against Sulli’s family and YouTube channel Garo Sero Institute. He insisted that the evidence presented by Kim Sae-ron’s family was fabricated.
Earlier on March 28, Sulli’s family released a statement claiming that the late actress was coerced into filming nude and bed scenes in the movie “Real” despite having a body double available. They accused Kim Soo-hyun and the production team of forcing her to go through with the scenes, questioning inconsistencies in the narrative.
As the controversy continues, the public remains divided over the accusations and Kim Soo-hyun’s response.
