The conference aimed to refute claims made by actor Kim Soo-hyun and his agency, Gold Medalist, regarding financial matters and other allegations.

The letters prohibited her from contacting Kim Soo-hyun or any other actors under the agency and warned of legal consequences if she did.
Despite reaching out to Kim Soo-hyun for help after receiving the first letter, she received no response. Instead, the agency escalated the situation with a second demand, pressuring her to repay the debt within a short timeframe. This reportedly caused her significant emotional distress.
Kim Soo-hyun’s side previously claimed that the letters were merely part of standard financial procedures. However, Kim Sae-ron’s family refuted this, stating that the agency’s actions were a coercive demand for immediate repayment rather than a routine legal formality.
Kim Sae-ron’s family disclosed that Gold Medalist forbade her from contacting Kim Soo-hyun or other affiliated actors. They also threatened legal action if she posted any content related to them, particularly concerning “Queen of Tears.”

Her family stated that this treatment contributed significantly to her suffering before her passing and questioned why Kim Soo-hyun only now expresses a desire to communicate with them.
The family is currently assessing potential legal actions against Kim Soo-hyun and Gold Medalist, holding them accountable for their alleged mistreatment of Kim Sae-ron.
