Sydney Sweeney and her Anyone But You costar Glen Powell were both photographed at a Texas restaurant amid rumors the actress and Jonathan Davino, her fiancé of three years, had broken up.

It appears that life may have imitating art for Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell.
The Anyone But You stars were both recently photographed at a Texas restaurant at the same time, Deux Moi reported on its Instagram March 30, alongside pics of the actors appearing separately.
The outlet included a screenshot of an anonymous tip from an alleged witness who stated that the two had attended a rehearsal dinner at the Tex-Mex eatery Joe Leo in Dallas. Another tipster alleged Sydney was in town to attend Glen's sister's wedding. On March 30, one of his two sisters, Leslie Powell, shared a pic of herself getting married on her Instagram Stories.
The event took place amid weeks of breakup rumors involving Sydney and Jonathan Davino, the actress' fiancé since at least 2022.
In the 2023 romcom Anyone But You, her and Glen's characters reunite in Australia to attend a wedding of each other's sisters. They pretend to be a couple while fighting their real attraction for one another that stemmed from great first date that took a turn for the awkward months earlier back in the United States.

Fans later speculated the actors were involved romantically in real life, noting their alleged chemistry at red carpet and other promotional events for the movie. Sydney, 27, and Glen, 36, later both responded to the romance rumors about themselves.
"It's a rom-com," the Euphoria actress, who was also an executive producer on Anyone But You, told Variety in an interview published in August 2023. "That's what people want!"
The Top Gun: Maverick star also addressed the speculation about what he called the "alleged affair." "When all that stuff happened, you know, publicly, it felt disorienting and unfair," Glen told Men's Health in an interview published Nov. 14. "But what I’m realizing is that’s just a part of this gig now."
The two later poked fun at the romance rumors when Sydney hosted SNL in March 2024.
"The craziest rumor is that I was having an affair with my costar Glen Powell," she said during her monologue. "That's obviously not true."

Sydney continued, "Me and my fiancé produced the movie together, and he was there the entire shoot. And I just want to let everyone know that he's the man of my dreams, and we're still together and stronger than ever. He even came here tonight to support me. Can we cut to him?"
The camera then panned to the audience, which showed Glen sitting and smiling at Sydney.

The pair later revisited the romance rumors.
"The two things that you have to sell a rom-com are fun and chemistry," Glen told the New York Times in an interview published in April 2024. "Sydney and I have a ton of fun together, and we have a ton of effortless chemistry. That's people wanting what's on the screen off the screen, and sometimes you just have to lean into it a bit—and it worked wonderfully. Sydney is very smart."
Sydney noted she was "on every call" regarding the marketing strategy.
"I wanted to make sure that we were actively having a conversation with the audience as we were promoting this film," she told the Times, "because at the end of the day, they're the ones who created the entire narrative."

Since starring in Speed together in 1994, rumors have raced over the decades that Keanu and Sandra had an off-screen romance. Alas, it was never meant to me, with Sandra denying the two were ever a couple in an interview with Esquire magazine.
