TRAVEL UPDATE: Mayo airport resumes flight schedule
Ireland West Airport has just announced important travel information
Storm Éowyn battered Mayo last night up until this morning. And as the red wind warning has passed, Ireland West Airport have announced that flight operations have now resumed.
"Some services throughout the remainder of the day may be operating with a delay due to the aftermath of the storm. Please note Mayo and the rest of Connacht are under a status orange weather warning until "
Passengers intending to travel this afternoon and evening are advised to contact their airline for the most accurate and up-to-date flight information.
The Airport management urges passengers: "If travelling to the airport take extra care on the roads."
