Taylor Swift May End up in an NFL Rivalry With This A-List Bestie
It could be a battle in the stands.
Taylor Swift propelled the fandom of the NFL to her Swiftie fanbase, thanks to her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Now, the 35-year-old pop star may have a little rivalry going with one of her besties!
Gigi Hadid was spotted in Philadelphia cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, Jan. 19. The 29-year-old supermodel was there with boyfriend Bradley Cooper, who is a super-fan of his hometown team. A TikTok showed the adorable couple enjoying the game as the Eagles beat the Rams 28-22. Hadid applauded and smiled while the 50-year-old actor hooted and hollered for his team.

If the Eagles win their NFC championship game on Sunday, Jan. 26 against the Washington Commanders, they might be facing the Chiefs. Of course, the Kanas City NFL team have to win their AFC match against the Buffalo Bills that same day. If it works out perfectly, Hadid and Swift will have a serious football rivalry brewing.
While we donât have Swift and Hadidâs friendship origin story, they were first photographed with Ireland Baldwin and Jaime King in March 2014 at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. By May 2015, the fashionista was starring in her palâs music video for âBad Bloodâ alongside other famous faces, including Zendaya, Kendrick Lamar, and Selena Gomez. And of course, Hadid was there for Swiftâs 2016 Fourth of July party at her home in Rhode Island.
Swift gushed about Hadid in a 2017 Harperâs Bazaar profile and it demonstrated how much love they have for each other. âAs a friend, Gigi is one of the first people I go to for advice. She has this incredible ability to see all sides of a situation and simplify it for you, to see the complexity of people,â Swift explained. âGigiâs #1 rule is to treat people the way sheâd want to be treated, so sheâs on time (or early) to work, says hello to everyone on set, asks them how they are, and actually listens to their response.â
While Swift would probably love Hadid in her corner if Kelce and his team make the Super Bowl again, she also understands Cooperâs loyalty to his beloved Eagles. The Super Bowl might be just as exciting in the stands as on the field this year if the Chiefs-Eagles matchup happens again.
