Taylor Swift 'Wants Nothing To Do' With Blake Lively After Being Used As A 'Pawn' In Former Friend's Game With Justin Baldoni
Taylor Swift is reportedly very upset with Blake Lively and is stepping back from their friendship amid Justin Baldoni scandal.
Taylor Swift and Blake Lively have a long history when it comes to their friendship. The duo were once the best of friends. They were even so close that the singer was named godmother to Livelyâs children, whom she shares with actor Ryan Reynolds. However, following the controversy surrounding Livelyâs lawsuit with her It Ends With Us co-star, Justin Baldoni, things have changed. Taylor and Blake are now taking time apart and the singer is said to be re-evaluating their relationship.
According to Page Six sources, Taylor Swift is very upset about the information that has come to light amid Blake Lively and Justin Baldoniâs lawsuit drama. Itâs been alleged that Lively used her friendship with Swift as a power move to get what she wanted during the production of the film. She even allegedly threatened to pull Swiftâs song from the movie. There have also been leaked text messages in which Blake called Taylor one of her âdragons.â
Swift allegedly didnât appreciate her name being involved with the scandal. She then reportedly decided to take a major step back from her friendship with Lively. The pair havenât been seen together in weeks. Blake and Ryan were also noticeably absent from Taylorâs suite at the Super Bowl earlier this month.

Meanwhile, The Daily Mail reports that Swift no longer speaks to Lively. Because of their current bad blood, the singer opted not to attend the Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary event. Taylor was reportedly invited to the celebration. However, because she knew Blake would be there, as well as her old enemy Kim Kardashian, she opted to sit it out.
Following the scandal, Swift is allegedly rethinking her relationships. Sheâs said to be âtaking stockâ of her friendships and figuring out if she needs to cut any other members of her circle to prevent further damage to her reputation.
The source went on to reveal that Swift has a new album âin the works.â Fans have speculated whether or not there will be any songs about the situation with Lively on her new record. However, only time will tell if sheâll decide to burn that bridge. Although, lyrics about dragons would certainly be a telling message.
It remains to be seen if Taylor Swift and Blake Lively can ever mend their friendship. However, for now, it appears that the singer isnât ready to forgive and forget just yet.
