Now that the Chiefs have earned their spot in the Super Bowl, it's all but guaranteed that Swift will be at the game in New Orleans on February 9 to support her man. Let's not forget, last year, in the midst of her international Eras Tour, Swift wrapped up her show in Tokyo and immediately got on a plane to Las Vegas to be there for Super Bowl LVIII. Attending this year's big game should be a breeze by comparison.
Notably, the Chiefs will once again face off against the Philadelphia Eagles, the longtime team of Travis's brother, Jason Kelce, who retired after 13 years with the Birds in 2024. Jason is an ESPN analyst now, so he might not be up in the stands ripping his shirt off like last year, but it's not out of the realm of possibility that Kylie Kelce joins Taylor in a suite with a bird's eye view. (I have a hard time imagining she'll be in anything but green, though.) It's likely it'll also be a hard day for Taylor's dad, Scott Swift, who was a longtime Eagles fan before his daughter starting dating Travis.
If the Chiefs win the Super Bowl for the third year in a row? Fans are already speculating that Travis will propose to Taylor if they secure a three-peat, but then again, they've been speculating that the couple will get engaged since they first got together in the summer of 2023. The only thing we know for certain is that Travis is not down for a fall wedding, as he mentioned on his and Jason's New Heights podcast earlier this month.
“I’ve seen weddings in fucking February. I’ve seen weddings everywhere but the fall. So I’m not sure if the fall was a good wedding season,” he told a caller who worried his nuptials would interfere with football season. Duly noted, Trav!
