Elizabeth: The Golden AgeElizabeth: The Golden Age, released in 2007, sees Cate Blanchett return to her role as Queen Elizabeth I, as she navigates threats from the Spanish Armada and personal heartbreak.
Key scenes set in Elizabeth's 'Whitehall' court interior were filmed at Ely Cathedral, while its exterior was represented by St John's College. In other scenes, the River Cam provides a regal backdrop for the Queen’s barge.
Chariots of FireChariots of Fire (1981) is an inspiring drama that narrates the true story of two athletes, Eric Liddell and Harold Abrahams, who competed in the 1924 Olympics.
