As royal fans know, Prince William and the Princess of Walesâ (formerly known as Kate Middleton) youngest son, Prince Louis, is quite a character.
The world first got to see Louisâ big personality during the Platinum Jubilee weekend honoring the late Queen Elizabeth II in 2022. The little prince was having a ball during the Platinum Pageant as he was dancing around in his seat, waving his arms in the air wildly, and giving peace signs to the cameras. Kate and Princess Charlotte were both seen trying to calm the rambunctious youngster down.
Since then, Louis has continued to show off his fun side making fans laugh whenever heâs seen out and about with his family. Heâs also been overheard giving a few cheeky comments too including what he said to his grandmother, Carole Middleton, when she asked him to do something.

On an episode of the Daily Mailâs Palace Confidential podcast, royal editor Rebecca English relayed a story she was told about how Prince Louis responded when he was playing in the ocean with Kateâs mom nearby during a family vacation in Mustique.
Another holidaymaker who was also vacationing on the Caribbean island overheard the six words Prince Louis had for Carole when she tried to get him out of the water.
English explained that the fellow holidaymaker observed Carole trying to coax her grandson out of the sea but he didnât want to get out. When Kateâs mother told him to come out and go on shore he reportedly said to her: âNo, Iâm not coming. Youâre old.â
While this story and some of Louisâ other antics have made headlines in the past, he was praised for how well he behaved during his grandfather, King Charlesâ coronation back in 2023.

Prince Louis made news recently for another thing he did.
On Feb. 3, the Princess of Wales posted a photo to Instagram for World Cancer Day. Kate revealed in March 2024 that she had cancer and was undergoing preventive treatment. A few months later, she announced that she had completed chemotherapy and in January 2025, shared that she was in remission.
The Instagram snap showed her standing in the middle of the woods with her arms outstretched. She captioned the pic: âDonât forget to nurture all that which lies beyond the disease. C.â
Just below the caption was a camera emoji with Prince Louisâ name next to it which, as anyone on that social media platform knows, means Louis is actually the person who took that picture of Kate.
Fans flooded the comments section to compliment the young prince on his photography skills, noting that he takes after his mother who is a keen photographer herself.
