The Batman - Part II has started 2025 with a very positive update. The highly-anticipated DC movie has suffered a series of delays. Robert Pattinson's second Batman movie was originally supposed to be released this year. However, due to the 2023 Hollywood strikes, the film was pushed back by a year. Since The Batman - Part II's story still was not ready, as director Matt Reeves had yet to turn in the full script, the movie was delayed once again, now arriving on October 1, 2027. After the delays, the lead star of The Batman - Part II's cast shared a positive update.
Speaking to Deadline, Robert Pattinson revealed that The Batman - Part II will start filming at the end of 2025.
The actor confirmed that no footage has yet been shot for the film, and when asked if he could tease the story of the Batman movie, Pattinson said, "Not yet." However, the actor shared his excitement for what is in store for his Bruce Wayne in the anticipated DC movie, claiming that the story of The Batman - Part II is "cool."
