The Fantastic Four's cast has begun to be revealed.
The cast of Marvel Studios' The Fantastic Four: First Steps is incredibly strong, featuring some of the best actors around. Kevin Feige confirmed a reboot of Fox's Fantastic Four projects in the MCU in 2019, shortly after Disney's acquisition of 20th Century Fox, though news was scarce for several years. Spider-Man: Homecoming's Jon Watts was originally attached to direct the project, though he was later replaced by WandaVision's Matt Shakman, with Josh Friedman and Cameron Squires penning the script. Marvel Studios' The Fantastic Four: First Steps is scheduled to release on July 25, 2025, in MCU's Phase 6.
Following Feige's announcement of The Fantastic Four: First Steps, the rumor mill began to spin, suggesting actors who could have assumed the four titular roles of Marvel's First Family. To celebrate Valentine's Day, Marvel Studios finally confirmed the cast of The Fantastic Four by sharing an image of the team on X. On February 4th, 2025, Marvel shared a teaser trailer giving fans a glimpse of the new iterations of these beloved characters. With Marvel's First Family finally joining the MCU, there is a lot to love about the cast of The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
