The Game is doing his part to help residents and first responders amid the devastating L.A. fires.
In a video shared on Instagram on Sunday, Jan. 12, the rapper — whose real name is Jayceon Terrell Taylor — shared that he has been pitching in with on-the-ground relief efforts where he can, including handing out basic necessities to exhausted firefighters and rescuing lost and abandoned pets.
“We came out here this morning with blankets, pillows, coffee, bananas, water — just anything we can, you know, bring to help these firemen out here on the wake-up, man,” said The Game, 45, while looking directly into the camera. “They’re doing big, amazing things here.”
The “California Vacation” singer then shared that he and his team were headed to Altadena — one of the L.A. neighborhoods impacted by the fires — to “rescue some animals” and “drop them off at the shelter."
“Then we’re gonna hit the other side of town and probably pull up on a few of the homies doing work over there,” he added.

"It’s like one of those times in America where everybody just needs to hone in on what’s going on here and do anything that you can to help,” he concluded, before sharing that he would also be posting ways for people outside of L.A. to help those affected by the disaster.
