The Masked Singer fans 'certain' Bush is EastEnders legend after soap exit
The Masked Singer fans are convinced they know who's behind the Bush mask - and it's an EastEnders star who has made headlines after quitting the BBC soap this week
The Masked Singer's Bush character has managed to dodge elimination for another week, but fans reckon they've already sussed out who's behind the mask. On Saturday night, viewers were left gobsmacked when Kingfisher was revealed to be none other than Sir Grayson Perry, despite many, including the judges, being convinced it was Harry Hill.
Grayson even admitted he'd been doing his best "Harry Hill impression" to throw everyone off the scent. Snail was also unmasked as Andrea Corr, confirming weeks of fan speculation. Despite getting Kingfisher's identity wrong, viewers are certain they've cracked the case of who Bush is, especially after a clue hinted they've been "very busy with the day job". Social media users on X, formerly known as Twitter, are speculating that it could be an EastEnders star, given the soap's upcoming 40th anniversary.

The judges have thrown Maisie Smith's name into the mix, but fans are convinced it's another Walford resident. This theory was fuelled when Bush cheekily asked: "Am I Maisie Smith, or have they got the wrong Ender the stick!"
One viewer tweeted: "if bush is morgana robinson impersonating natalie cassidy it will actually be the best thing that's ever happened on this show #maskedsingeruk. While another said: " Another confidently stated: "Bush is 100% Natalie Cassidy! The clues, the accent, the voice - everything points to her! " A third insisted: "Natalie Cassidy, it's so obvious. You can hear her voice plain as day. #maskedsingeruk."
While a fourth declared: "If Bush isn't Natalie Cassidy, I am going to be questioning everything #MaskedSingerUK.", reports the Mirror.

This week, it was revealed that Natalie would be stepping down as her role as Sonia Fowler in the soap after over three decades. She'll be bidding farewell once the highly anticipated 40th anniversary celebrations conclude.
Her character is currently pregnant with killer Reiss Colwell's baby unaware that he was the one who bumped off his ex-wife. "I feel extremely sad to be writing this, but also very excited," she said.
"After another 11 solid years back on The Square, I have decided it's time to move on to pastures new. EastEnders is in my bones so I will never forget where I started my career and I will continue to love the show. Thank you to Chris Clenshaw for the opportunity to be such a big part of the 40th anniversary – it's an honour. Emotionally concluding, Natalie wrote: "See ya, Sonia, going but never forgotten. "

Further speaking about Natalie's depature, boss Chris Clenshaw announced: "Over the last 31 years in EastEnders, Natalie has been involved in some of the show's most iconic and explosive storylines.
"I won't be revealing the finite details relating to her exit, but I can say that she will take a central role in the 40th anniversary storylines in a week of truly unmissable drama that will change the lives of those in Walford forever. I'd like to thank Natalie for her time at EastEnders, and I wish her all the best for the future."
