The Masked Singer fans 'work out' Bush's identity - and it's not Natalie Cassidy
The Masked Singer viewers are convinced they know the identity of Bush, with a number of clues pointing to one particular star.
The Masked Singer has returned to our screens, sending fans into a frenzy as they scramble to deduce the identities of the celebrities behind the elaborate costumes.
Already this series, viewers have seen Kate Garraway and Prue Leith revealed, but there are still numerous stars concealed.
Still in the running are Bush, Bear, Wolf, Dressed Crab, Kingfisher, Pufferfish, Snail, and Teeth, with their 'true' identities remaining a mystery. The clues are piling up, and both the audience and the panel of judges - Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan, Jonathan Ross, and Maya Jama- are eager to crack the code of who's who.
Bush is one character that has particularly intrigued viewers, with many convinced they've cracked the case.
Fans on Reddit have been dissecting the clues, with one particular hint leading them to believe they know the person behind the mask.
"So I think many of us believe it's Natalie Cassidy, people are talking about the number 9 on the door and it being a reference to inside number 9. 'She's not in inside number 9' no she's not BUT she is in Psychoville, another (underrated) show by the Inside number 9 boys Reece and Steve," a sharp-eyed fan speculated on The Masked Singer.
Another chimed in, suggesting that Natalie, known for her role as Sonia Fowler in EastEnders, might be linked to the number nine clue due to her participation in the ninth series of Celebrity Big Brother, reports the Mirror.
However, some are convinced it's Morgana Robinson. One viewer noted: "Morgana Robinson, famous for her Natalie Cassidy impression was in an episode of Inside Number 9."
Meanwhile another said: "It's definitely Morgana Robinson. She does a very good Natalie Cassidy impression, was born in Australia (judges are going down the I'm A Celeb route) and she was in an episode of Inside No9."
Another name being thrown into the mix is Australian actress Jessica Gunning, renowned for her role as Martha in Netflix's Baby Reindeer.
"I'm deadset sure she's Jessica Gunning from Baby Reindeer. Doctor Who clues line up (Partners in Crime). Aussie clues line up WITH Inside No. 9 (played an Aussie traveller in La Couchette). Thank you. Good night," a confident fan posted on Reddit.
