The Masked Singer's Bear 'gives away identity' in live TV interview
The Masked Singer sees celebrities hide their identities inside wacky costumes - but Bear may have given the game away
An EastEnders actor may have accidentally revealed himself as the celebrity behind The Masked Singer's Bear character during a live interview. The ITV singing competition features celebrities in elaborate costumes, with only their singing voices undisguised.
So far, six people have been unmasked in the latest series, including the latest star to be unmasked - former Great British Bake Off presenter Mel Giedroyc as Teeth. Other celebrities revealed include Good Morning Britain's Kate Garraway as Spag Bol; Bake Off's Prue Leith as Pegasus; Carol Decker as Tattoo; Macy Gray as Toad in the Hole and Mo Farah as Giant Joel.
Seven stars remain - Wolf, Snail, Bush, Kingfisher, Bear, Dressed Crab and Pufferfish - and fans are eagerly dissecting every clue to guess their identities. One of the most speculated characters is Bear, and viewers may have just received their biggest hint yet.

During an ITV News interview, EastEnders actor Richard Blackwood appeared to inadvertently suggest he is the celebrity inside the costume. When asked directly by the presenter, he seemed to stumble over his words.
"Just quickly, before we finish, are you doing The Masked Singer? Because you're getting loads of attention about it this week. Can you exclusively reveal it to us?" the presenter probed.
"I could... because you made me feel so good and stuff," Richard said, obviously flustered. "No, I can't, I can't. But the moves and the way I... I mean, that's how I would do it."
Many viewers have pointed to the star as being inside the costume, while others are convinced Bear is actually rapper Example, whose real name is Elliot John Gleave.
The Masked Singer continued on ITV on Saturday, February 1 at 7pm.
