The Masked Singer's Wolf unmasked as 80s icon in third place
The Masked Singer has crowned its winner of the 2025 series as the final three celebrities were unmasked as the ITV competition came to a close with a supersized special
The Masked Singer's finale tonight finally unmasked the celebrity behind Wolf, who snatched a respectable third place in the show. In the extended special episode of The Masked Singer, we saw Wolf, along with Dressed Crab and Pufferfish, battle it out while our beloved judges Maya Jama, Davina McCall, and Jonathan Ross took their final stabs at guessing who was singing beneath the costumes.
After an epic eight-week run gracing the stage with unforgettable performances, it all came down to tonight where three songs were belted out by the hopeful finalists. But it was Wolf who was revealed as none other than Marti Pellow.
Upon his reveal, Marti gushed to the panel: "I've had a fantastic time, it's been an incredible experience for me, I've just thoroughly enjoyed it!"

He then serenaded the audience with Love Is All Around, giving in to Davina McCall's plea for the nostalgic tune. Always game for a laugh, host Joel Dommett declared: "I have no authority, but I'm saying yes!"
During the gripping competition, viewers turned detectives, scouring for clues to unveil the mystery singer. Many had hit the nail on the head, suspecting that Wet Wet Wet's lead man Marti was indeed the voice behind the mask.
One observant fan pointed out the giveaway on X, posting: "Who else had a song called Angel Eyes...Wet Wet Wet. Wolf is Marti Pellow. He hardly disguised his voice tonight," reports the Mirror.
While another shared their frustration, expressing: "I've said it's Marti Pellow since I heard the first few lines sung weeks ago. Never once been mentioned by the panel, then tonight when Maya said Angel Eyes I thought at last. Then she said ABBA, I give up."
However, some eagle-eyed viewers were convinced that the man behind the mask was none other than Hugh Grant, star of Bridget Jones and Music and Lyrics. "Wolf Hugh Grant maybe," speculated one fan on social media, with another echoing: "Wolf - Hugh Grant."

Making his grand entrance in week two, Wolf wowed the judges with renditions of hits like David Bowie's Let's Dance, Barry Manilow's Copacabana, and more recently, Crowded House's Don't Dream It's Over.
The Masked Singer's 2025 series kicked off with a dozen incognito celebs, with Good Morning Britain's Kate Garraway being the first to reveal herself as Spag Bol. Hot on her heels were Bake Off's Prue Leith as Pegasus, singer Carol Decker as Tattoo, Grayson Perry as Kingfisher, and EastEnders' Natalie Cassidy as Bush.
In week three, Macy Gray was revealed as Toad in the Hole, but she left viewers gobsmacked when she refused to remove her mask and, in scenes not aired, stormed off stage. A TV insider told The Mirror that Macy declined to participate in a post-unmasking Q&A.
"It is normal for the celebs to answer some questions for a Q&A sent out by ITV but Macy didn't do it. This is only second time in history of the show this has happened so it shows how unhappy she was after the show," they shared.
