The Masked Singer viewers left confused over winner as fans ask same question
The winner of the latest season of The Masked Singer has now been revealed
Viewers who tuned into the final of ITV's The Masked Singer were left puzzled when the winning contestant was revealed - as many say they had never heard of her before.
Saturday night's grand finale (February 15) saw finalists Dressed Crab, Pufferfish and Wolf perform for the last time in the 2025 season of ITV's singing contest, before they were each unmasked.
After each of the finalists performances, judges Maya Jama, Davina McCall and Jonathan Ross all share their final guesses about the identities of the stars participating in the sixth season of the show. Danny Jones, the 2024 winner of The Masked Singer, also joined the panel as a guest judge.
Host Joel Dommett was there to support the singers and recap the clues about their identities. As the show concluded, fans were excited to see it was Wet Wet Wet star Marti Pellow hidden under the Wolf costume and singer Gregory Porter beneath the Dressed Crab disguise.
However, when West End star Samantha Barks was revealed as Pufferfish, viewer reactions were mixed with many stating they had no idea who she is - despite her appearances in a major Hollywood film and on stage.
The 34-year-old from the Isle of Man has played Elsa in the West End production of Frozen, and also starred alongside Anne Hathaway and Hugh Jackman in the 2012 version of Les Miserables, reports the Mirror.

Another viewer asked: "Who? #maskedsinger. Never heard of her.." Meanwhile, another admitted: "I've watched the entire series only to be dumbfounded by having never heard of the actual winner #maskedsinger."
Despite not knowing who was was, some said they had become instant fans of Samantha Barks, with one saying: "What an amazing final - very well deserved #samanthaBarks (I have to admit to not knowing this amazing person until this show). Stunning talent."
Another enthusiastic fan of the show praised: "Samantha Barks is an amazing singer her, love her! #MaskedSingerUK #MaskedSinger."
The Masked Singer's sixth season featured a bunch of famous faces performing under elaborate costumes. Olympic icon Mo Farah was the first celebrity unmasked this season as Giant Joel, followed closely by TV presenter Kate Garraway, who had been hiding behind the Spag Bol disguise.
Bake Off's own Prue Leith and Mel Giedroyc were revealed under Pegasus and Teeth costumes respectively. The roster of unveiled celebrities also includes Andrea Corr from The Corrs, rapper Example, singer Carol Decker, artist Grayson Perry, and EastEnders actress Natalie Cassidy.
