Alex Jones was left stunned during Monday's episode of The One Show after a touching surprise.
In the latest instalment, Davina McCall made her first live appearance since undergoing brain surgery four months ago to remove a benign brain tumour, known as a colloid cyst.
The 57-year-old TV presenter appeared on The One Show on Monday night, marking her first live television appearance post-surgery, as she discussed the upcoming Red Nose Day.
As part of the forthcoming Red Nose Day Comic Relief celebrations, Davina had a surprise in store for host Alex, 47.
Co-host Vernon Kay, 50, said: "Money raised from Comic Relief goes towards helping people in the UK and overseas. Alex you've seen first hand what the money does.", reports the Mirror.

To which Alex responded: "I have! Comic Relief funds lots of projects each year here in the UK, for young children and mums in particular, one example is called Maternity Mates.
"But ten years ago, I had a chance to go to Uganda, where they helped transform a maternity centre in desperate need of refurbishment. Gosh, I remember that like it was yesterday!"
At this point, Vernon teased: "Well Davina, you've got a bit of a surprise for our Alex..." to which Davina replied: "I have because Comic Relief have been doing a little bit of filming in Uganda again... and they spoke to someone you might remember... called Angela... who was the midwife... have a look at this!"
A video featuring the midwife in question was played, followed by a touching clip where the mother Alex assisted in childbirth expressed her gratitude.

The mother shared: "In 2015, Alex and Dr Angela helped me give birth. They came and took me to the hospital in Tororo and then brought me back to Iyolwa Health Centre. This is the child that I gave birth to and named him after you."
The footage concluded with the mother's son, Alex, aged nine, delivering an endearing message.
Reacting to the heartwarming surprise, host Alex confessed: "Oh my goodness! Oh my Gosh!
"I can't even believe that, it seems like yesterday but I had never seen anybody giving birth before, I cut the umbilical cord with a razor because that's all there was."
An overwhelmed Alex commented on the unexpected and sweet video messages: "That is amazing, gosh, that has floored me!"
The One Show continues on weekdays at 7pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
