The One Show's Alex Jones tears up as she makes emotional admission live on-air

The One Show presenter Alex Jones was left dabbing her eyes as she said "I can't even say it" during Tuesday's (March 11) live show.
Tonight's edition of the BBC chat show welcomed Stacey Dooley to discuss her new tell-all book, Conversations with Remarkable Mothers, which is hitting the shelves later this week.
Stacey's new read promises a deep dive into motherhood, showcasing her renowned warmth and journalistic prowess, featuring heartfelt letters from various mums to their little ones.
Leading the heartfelt tributes is Stacey's own tender letter to her two-year-old daughter Minnie - a note so touching that it stirred Alex to tears.
"It is lovely, and there's the whole spectrum of motherhood from every angle, but, of course, it starts with a letter to Minnie. Oh my god, I can't even say it, but it's just so lovely," Alex gushed, visibly moved, with co-star Clara Amfo stepping in with a comforting arm, reports Wales Online.

During the candid chat, Stacey also shed light on her inspiration behind the book and gave fans a peek into her creative process.
"We were sort of flirting with the idea of what we wanted to talk about, and whether I had a third book in me. I did definitely want to do another book," she revealed.
Choosing motherhood as the theme felt like second nature: "It was sort of a no-brainer if you know what I mean, motherhood was at the forefront of my mind... I just quite fancied doing something surrounding motherhood.
Stacey Dooley appeared on the green sofa to promote her new book (Image: BBC)"It's such an oversaturated market, there's so many books telling you how to do it and I don't know how to do it, so I thought, 'Do you know what? I actually have no authority to kind of hand out any words of advice.'"
Feeling she lacked the expertise to offer advice, Stacey decided to chat with a variety of mums from different backgrounds and situations.
"My pregnancy, my birth, my journey has been relatively straightforward, and that's not representative so I wanted it to feel quite universal," she shared.
Sharing her thoughts on the final product, Stacey gushed: "The mums were just total sweethearts... It's lovely, I'm delighted with it."
