The Traitors fans knew Jake was going to win after massive clue
Fans of The Traitors already knew the winner of the third series
Friday (January 24) saw the final episode of series three of The Traitors, but fans say they already knew who was going to be crowned the winner after a massive clue was unearthed.
As the final four contestants, Frankie, Leanne, Alexander and Jake surrounded the fire pit, Claudia informed them that they could choose to end the game and split the money or choose to banish another contestant.
Deciding they still didn't trust each other, they voted twice to banish two more contestants and faithfuls Frankie and Alexander were forced to bid farewell to the prize pot.
As Leanne and Jake celebrated their win, some fans already worked out that Jake was going to be crowned the winner after spotting a clue just a few days before the final aired.
On TikTok, @alice_wt posted a reaction to @beabaspam's comment that read: "someone realised that Jake had a tattoo of the traitors which kinda implicates that he did win."
In the video, @alice_wt wrote: "You know what he deserves it for spotting Linda from the very start and clocked it. So I will be happy if it's him."
While some fans weren't convinced, @antisocial_pessimist replied: "I mean...he could have got the tattoo because he went through the experience of being on the show" and @millie_1986 added: "He could have got a tattoo regardless though, as a memento of the show."
Others were certain that this was a big hint, @lollie347 responded: "There’s no outcome where Jake doesn’t win" and @okstoo added: "it’s so obvious Jake and Leanne win."
Jake, a 28-year-old project manager from Barrow-in-Furness, previously shared: "I really like the show. That might be quite a bog-standard answer but I do just really like the show. It's actually the only thing I've ever applied for. I've always been into mysteries, even when I was younger in my Scooby Doo days, I've always liked the guess who’s the murderer game so this show is the perfect kind of game for me."
He continued: "I think I'll be good at it as well. When you watch it from home, you're only getting half the experience because you know who the Traitors are, but I’ve always said that I'd love to be on the other side of it and be in the castle and get the full experience of not knowing anything and not trusting anyone."
