The Undertaker: The Rock Loved To Check Himself Out Kicking My Ass On The Titantron
WWE Hall of Famer The Undertakes reveals a common theme he noticed in his matches with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
The Undertaker recalls a funny in-ring trend he noticed from The Rock.
Throughout WWE’s Attitude Era, The Rock and The Undertaker became quite familiar with one another, with notable faceoffs on WWE Raw and SmackDown as well as pay-per-views. While speaking with fellow WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley, Undertaker revealed a common theme he later noticed in his Rock-related encounters.
“The funny thing about Rock, and I don’t know if you ever experienced it, Rock loved to kick my ass with my back to the [Titan]tron,” Undertaker said. “You know why? So he could watch himself kick my ass on the Tron. I swear to you, he would be wearing me out and not even looking at me. He’s just sitting there hitting me like this watching himself on the Tron kick my ass.”
Once Undertaker caught on to The Rock’s mirror move, he called him out. Rock didn’t seem too fazed by it, however.
“I remember once I told him, I said ‘Do you mind? I’m going to sell for you, but can you at least look at me while you’re kicking my ass?’ He just laughed,” Undertaker said. “He had to laugh because he knew I busted him. He admitted it, he had no choice. He knew that I busted him with himself checking himself out on the Tron.”
