This supermodel is reportedly the richest with a huge estimated net worth of just over £400 million.
Kathy Ireland might not be as famous as Kendall Jenner (worth a reported £45 million) but this dark horse supermodel is worth more than any other.
She hasn’t reached the same level of fame as some of the other rich supermodels but in terms of wealth, she tops the list.
Since appearing in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue for 13 consecutive years, she’s gone on to become a best-selling author, and owns her own marketing company, Kathy Ireland Worldwide.
The company boasts a yearly turnover in the billions, reports Marie Claire.
In the 1980s, Kathy was on the cover of every huge magazine, today she has largely stepped back from the modeling world but she remains a fashion icon and a successful business woman.
Her business ventures include everything from her Fashion 360 line for HSN and her fragrance collection to her Kathy Ireland Worldwide licensing brand and Ireland Pay credit card processing company.
She also has her philanthropic pursuits, like serving as an ambassador for the Los Angeles Urban League's Whitney M. Young Jr. Awards Dinner, reports PEOPLE.
Kathy was born on March 20 1963 in Glendale, California. At 17, she was discovered by an agent from the Elite Model Management and at the time of her high school graduation in 1981, she was a full time working model.
Her breakthrough however came in 1984 when she got to model for Sports Illustrated.
After this she became a household name and was ranked among the likes of Cindy Crawford and Christie Brinkley.
The second richest model after Kathy Ireland is Cindy Crawford with a huge £325 million.
Crawford earned her supermodel status a long time ago and has amassed a staggering net worth since.
Although she found fame through her physical appearance, the brown-haired, brown-eyed Crawford first distinguished herself through her intellectual attributes.
Other richest models include Cara Delivigne, Miranda Kerr, Kate Moss, Alessandra Ambrosio, Naomi Campbell, Tyra Banks, Adriana Lima and Heidi Klum.
