This Morning fans 'confused' as Ben Shephard corrects Jeff Brazier blunder
This Morning presenter Ben Shephard was forced to clear up an on-air blunder as fans were left scratching their heads.
ITV host Ben Shephard had to awkwardly address a glaring on-air inconsistency as fans quickly pointed out a notable contradiction during Tuesday's episode of This Morning (April 1).
Ben and his co-host Cat Deeley presented various segments, covering topics such as the latest fashion trends and Easter treats. Throughout the show, guest Jeff Brazier and his son Freddy shared live updates from Malta on the programme's ongoing competition.
Later in the show, Ben and Cat conducted a "live" video chat with the Loose Men panellists about their show's topics for the day. However, viewers spotted Jeff Brazier among the panellists, sparking widespread confusion as he had supposedly been live in Malta just moments earlier.
Taking to social media platform X in droves, baffled viewers aired their confusion. One fan posted: "So where is Brazier? I'm confused.."

Another viewer sarcastically commented: "Lol, obviously live, as Jeff has flown in, especially in half an hour! Why act like it's live?"
A third user said: "Whoa whoa, Jeff Brazier is in Malta??"
A fourth fan questioned: "I am confused. How can Jeff be live from Malta on @thismorning and within 5 mins live on @loosewomen in the UK #ThisMorning," reports Wales Online.
Another user joked: "Jeff got back from Malta quickly. They should have really thought this through."
Prompted by the gaffe, Ben Shephard hastily clarified the situation, explaining to viewers that the Loose Men segment had actually been "recorded a while ago".
Meanwhile, On ITV's Loose Men, Jeff got candid about the challenges of raising two boys.

The special edition of Loose Women featured an all-male panel, including Jeff, who joined forces with Jordan Banjo, Iain Stirling, and Craig Doyle—who returned as host—to delve into important issues and shatter the stigma surrounding men's discussions on mental and physical health.
During the conversation, Jeff touched upon the hit Netflix series Adolescence, drawing parallels with today's youth.

Reflecting on his experiences with his sons, Bobby and Freddy Brazier, he shared: "I'm not at the stage where mine are 20 and 21 and I'm looking back and reflecting on how I managed the phone scenario."
He also confessed: "It's not always possible to actually keep our children safe... I've found it really difficult adjusting to the fact that I can't be the answer to everything."
This Morning airs Mondays-Fridays from 10am on ITV1.
