This Morning: Dave Fishwick presents from chaotic Oscars red carpet
TV presenter Dave Fishwick has voiced his concerns as the clock ticks down to the Oscars this weekend.
The Bank of Dave entrepreneur gave a live update from Los Angeles on Friday's (February 28) edition of This Morning, right from the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre.
‌
With only 48 hours left until Hollywood's most glamorous night, stars are gearing up for an evening of dazzling celebration and well-earned triumphs, but there seems to be a hitch in preparations.
"Let me into a secret with you. There's 48 hours to go, and they've still got all the plastic on the red carpet," Dave shared with viewers, amidst unattended ladders and wood still present at the venue.

Despite the disarray, assurances have been made that everything will fall into place in time for the event, reports Wales Online.
In the lead-up to the ceremony, Dave revealed that he and his wife experienced the glamour of Tinseltown first-hand, enjoying drinks at the Skybar, which is famous for its Oscar viewing parties.
He gleefully reported: "Me and Mrs F were there and we had a few swift halfs. It was fantastic, and they knew who we were, which was brilliant!"
‌
The excitement doesn't stop there for Dave, as he also divulged that he's been honoured with an invitation to Elton John's illustrious Oscars viewing bash, an event known for fundraising for the AIDS Foundation.
"We just can't believe it... There's gonna be a few drinks, and then we're gonna be watching the Oscars... We're living the dream," remarked an ecstatic Dave.
‌
Comedian and talk show maestro Conan O'Brien will be taking the helm for the prestigious night this year, marking his first time hosting the ceremony.
