This Morning's Josie Gibson shares update on hospital dash as she uses crutches
This Morning presenter Josie Gibson appeared on the ITV show alongside Alison Hammond on Friday, February 28, and explained why she was using crutches.
Josie Gibson has raised eyebrows after showing up on This Morning with crutches. The ITV personality joined forces with Alison Hammond to host Friday's episode of the popular daytime programme.
Initially, Alison was the sole presenter on This Morning, with Josie joining a few minutes later.
‌
She disclosed that she had sustained an injury while on holiday in Dubai with her young son Reggie during half term, which left her using crutches.
Josie recounted her experience of seeking medical help overseas, where she was initially diagnosed with a fractured leg. However, upon her return to the UK, she was told she had actually suffered soft tissue damage, reports Wales Online.
‌
It was previously reported that Josie shared a concerning photo on her Instagram story, revealing she had to visit the hospital.
She shared an image showing directions to the Fracture and Orthopaedic Clinics and a Trauma Assessment Unit, captioning it with: "You couldn't even make it up".
The post was accompanied by rock band Mazzy Star's song Cry Cry.
‌
Fans of Josie were worried for the TV presenters health as she had previously been so open about various health issues, including seeking treatment for tonsillitis and experiencing sleep paralysis.

However, she has now disclosed the reason for her hospital stay - suffering a fractured leg while on holiday with her son, Reggie.
On This Morning, she explained how she was brushing her teeth in their hotel room bathroom when the vanity unit detached from the wall and crashed onto her foot.
The star told Alison that she spend the "whole holiday" with her "leg in the air" and also needed a "wheelchair to get about".
