This Morning: Dave Fishwick presents from chaotic Oscars red carpet
TV host Dave Fishwick couldn't hide his pre-Oscars nerves as he appeared live from the red carpet in Los Angeles on Friday's (February 28) This Morning.
With only 48 hours to go until Hollywood's most dazzling night, movie stars are gearing up for an evening of glitz, entertainment, and well-earned trophies. But there's a twist, as the venue is not yet ready.
"Let me into a secret with you. There's 48 hours to go, and they've still got all the plastic on the red carpet," Dave revealed, giving viewers a sneak peek inside the Dolby Theatre - which was filled with strewn ladders and wood.
He assured: "We've still got all the things that need to happen, and they've promised me that it's all going to be ready."

Dave added a personal touch, recounting how he and his wife enjoyed themselves at the Skybar, a hotspot known for its Oscar viewing parties, reports Wales Online.
"Me and Mrs F were there and we had a few swift halfs. It was fantastic, and they knew who we were, which was brilliant!" he gleefully recounted.
Taking full advantage of his trip across the pond, Dave also mentioned snagging an invite to Elton John's famed Oscars bash that benefits the AIDS Foundation.
"We just can't believe it... There's gonna be a few drinks, and then we're gonna be watching the Oscars... We're living the dream," Dave said, soaking in the excitement.
Headlining this year's Oscars will be none other than comedian and late-night show legend Conan O'Brien, stepping into hosting duties for the first time.
