âPeople talk about a lack of scoring from our group,â Flames head coach Ryan Huska told reporters last week. âBut I donât look at it that way. I look at it more as a lack of first-period scoring. Thatâs the area where weâre lagging behind. The rest â second and third period â itâs right in the middle of the league, where it should be. So the question weâve asked of our players is, âWhy the first period?â The chances are the same.
